1. Information that we collect and use

a) The information we collect is generally used to enable you the best service from our side. This only includes cookies in your browser´s memory. It helps us to maintain our service free from fraud and enables us to understand which additional services may be useful to you, as well to improve our service.

b) If you use our service, you willingly provide us one of your chosen usernames. Other data that make your person identifiable, will neither be collected nor stored by us. Your username will only be used to provide you with our service or to register you for using our App.

c) While using our service, we shall follow your connectivity status and tell other users whether you have received and read messages that have been sent to you. If you do not want other users to know your connectivity status or that you have read messages, you may change these options in settings of your device.

All core functions from our side are secured with end-to-end encryption: phone calls, individual conversations, group messages and media sharing. It means that this information is only stored on your device and nobody, not even us, has access to that information.

We guarantee that we shall not read or listen to a content of your messages and/or private calls and we shall not save these messages after they have been delivered (approximately less than a second). If the message for some reason has not been sent to the destination within 2 weeks, it will be deleted from our servers.

We maintain technical, physical and administrative security measures to protect the security of your personal information from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure or alteration.

 

2. Cookies

A cookie is a small text file of a web page you visit with your browser that is stored on your computer or mobile device.

We use cookies to secure and to be able to offer our service. We use cookies, for example:

  • To offer Kedr for web, desktop and other web-based services, to improve your user experience, to understand how our service is used and to personalize it.
  • To provide you with relevant content about our services.

You may follow the instructions given to you by your browser or device to change your cookie settings. Please note, if you prohibit cookies on your browser or device, our service may no longer work properly.

 

3. Disclosure of your information to third parties

We will only share your above-mentioned personal information with third parties if it is required by the law and law enforcement authorities. We may share your information with law enforcement authorities, government authorities, or authorized third parties who submit a verified request for terrorist acts, criminal investigations or alleged illegal or other activities.

 

4. Your Setting options

If you want to remove certain content that you wrote in the past, you can erase it. It will be deleted from our side but it may remain on local devices of some users.

You can disable the "Seen" notification, so that other user do not know if you have already read a message.

You may generally prevent the storage of cookies or adjust setting options at which you must agree to the setting of cookies. You can individually make this modification via settings of your browser. Using settings of your browser, you may also delete previously set cookies later. Please note that to prohibit cookies can be technically gained by managing an Opt-Out Cookie setting . It means that another cookie will be stored on your computer that prevents relevant information from being transmitted to the website operator.

 

5. Your right to information, erasure, blocking and objection

In accordance with applicable data protection laws, you may (a) request an access to your personal information collected about you and request it to be updated, modified, deleted or blocked; (b) request stop using any personal information about you, and c) object to creation of user account about you.

6. Third party websites

Our App and the website may contain links to other third-party websites or you may access Apps from a third-party website. We are not responsible for data protection practices of third parties or the content of those websites.

 

7. Children

You must be at least 16 years of age or older to sign up for our service.

 

8. Changes of Data Protection Policy

We shall update from time to time this data protection policy based on changes in legal, regulatory or operational requirements. Such changes (including information when they will enter into force) will be announced in accordance with legal requirements. Your continued usage of our Services after such updates entered into force will represent your acceptance of those changes.
